Info
Hamel, DeepTimeRiver is an immersive vocal performance by YouYou Group. Inspired by the legend of the Pied Piper of Hamelin, twelve performers lead the audience on a journey of voices, movement and ritual through the architecture of the theatre. The youyou—also known as the trill or zaghareed—becomes a river of sound, dissolving the boundary between performer and spectator and moving toward a collective ritual of gathering and transformation.
